Description
The Argyle is a traditional one-button fastening kilt jacket, with gauntlet cuffs and scalloped pockets. It is the standard day-wear kilt jacket and versatile for a variety of semi formal or formal occasions. This iconic jacket has been the gold standard in Highland wear since the nineteenth century.
This jacket can be worn with or without a five button waistcoat, but is usually accompanied with a belt and buckle set when a waistcoat is not worn.
The Argyle Jacket features:

- Thistle Jacquard lining
- Silk Braided epaulettes
- Polished ‘Clann na Gael’ Buttons

If unsure of sizing, please contact us for custom measuring appointment (where available) or information on exactly how to measure for a jacket and vest. You will want to take three measurements and provide those to us along with your height. Your chest, sleeve and half back measurements. We will use those measurements to confirm the size you have selected and order the correct length for you whether that is small, regular or large.

Jacket and vest sizes over 50 are also available at an additional cost. We like to get a few more measurements for those jackets before having you place the order.
