Clan Logan Society International Tartan – Yardage

Clan Logan Society Official Tartan for the 21st Century was officially registered on October 10, 2023.  The design was inspired by the colours of the flags of Scotland and Ireland, using muted shades of blue and green.  Based on the Logan tartan, it incorporates five overchecks of black and includes red and yellow lines, intended to represent the coat of arms registered by George Logan in 1672.

Clan Logan Society International fabric information:

  • 13 ounce weight (heavy enough for upholstery but also a nice weight for making any hand sewn items)
  • Woven double width – 152 cm
  • 100% wool

Care of wool fabric requires hand wash or machinewash, gentle cycle, cold wahs and hang to dry.  Dry cleaning should be done minimally since it does strip the natural oils from the wool.
